  1. Timeline of my life
My name is Mohamed Alkilany with Libyan nationality , I`m almost 33 years of age . football , swimming , photography and hangout are really from my top five hobbies , during my all time life I have a lot of stations and experiments that influenced my life and my personality as well . My family was the first school for me, then education years and the career experiments, actually there are many kinds of other schools in every one`s life, every stage can teach us lesson and can affect us as well , but weather this effect is positive or negative!! !! we who can decide .

I`m from well-connected family , I`m the youngest member so it was very easy to understood the respect and the love because I was surrounded by all my brothers and sisters and my parents as well .I have five brothers and three sisters and we used to share everything as we live in the same house ,we used to meet and talk every single day . nowadays we don`t meet as well as before , the life changes , now every member has his own family and home but we still well-connected.

Lost my dad , that was really worst and painful experience in my life so far , maybe the most awkward situation I have surmounted, however for the first days after my dad died I couldn`t accept the fact that my dad now is not with us anymore ,and the person who used to support me as well as everyone in my family is not exist anymore , later on I realized the fact, and I had to handle that effect and I could make it as positive effect , the truth can be the following " my father`s soul and his words still a life " since then I have really felt with his support more than before .

My education years , was really long journey as it was full of events . during this journey I meet a lot of people some of them really were my inspiration source and others were my competitors , but the most important stage during the education journey was my high school . everything has changed , I got more freedom and more open life and that time was really so effective for me.

My career experience. according to my certificate I should work as electrical engineer only therefore I spent more than fifteen years studying to be engineer , but a pit lately , came to my mind that the life is not always fair, and it needs more flexibility, I realized that as long as we do the action we will get the same result , sometimes we can`t life as we planned before ,therefore we have to have plane B otherwise we will got stuck in the same point , that exactly what happened to me . my first job was really far from the engineering facilities . I worked as photographer , then I had got my job as electrical engineer , but I wasn`t from those who can stay at the same place with same job for long time, I always was looking for better position and better job, therefore I changed my job two times . I worked for international company and it was the most beneficial job I have ever gotten , since I had started to work for them I had really felt that all my technical skills got improved as well as my communication skills . Schlumberger company bushed me forward to explore more and more . instability was from my weakens points, however looking for the change sometimes is not that good idea but I don`t care, because of that I`m in USA now and more exploration trips .

All the obstacles we overcome in our life, all the events we see and face while we try to go forward, all the experiments' we may get involved to , will impact on our life, and we who are responsible about those effects weather they are positive or negative , we have to take the advantage of any experiments even from bad ones and we should believe that we can change the negative effect to positive one .

  2. Today, I want to tell about the story of my life. I think I'm a lucky women. I have a small family with parent and a older brother. I was the youngest, that's the reason why I always get the love from my parents and my brother. Sometimes I used look out the window and think about the things that I had experienced until now to see the gains and the losses what I've had in my life. And then, I'll find the best pathway to lead me to the future.

Back to 26 years ago, on a full moon night in the rural of Vietnam, I was born. I spent my childhood with a happy, peaceful and beautiful life, although our lives were very difficult. When I was ten, my family have moved to Ho Chi Minh city - the big city of Vietnam where I was grown up. I had to get used to a new life, new school, and new friends... I finally graduated from college and got a good job at ANZ bank intermediately. I am an aloof and afraid to communicate. However, when started working, I had to familiar with the interface, and avoid mistakes. Gradually I became more open and got a lot of good relationships. My ability is recognized and appreciated. Moreover, my experience and knowledge was improved so much. And of course I earned a lot of money. I spent most of it to make my family's life more comfortable. That's something what I've achieved.

Besides, I realized that the life is not always beautiful. I understand that the rule of life is to keep everything in balance. If you have too many things, then you will be taken away something. But what I got is nothing compared to what I had lost. My Dad left me permanently after a heart stroke. My life is almost complete collapse. For a long time, I could not accept the truth. I didn't cry. I have just feel empty. I quit my job and lived with this pain. One day, I realized that I was too selfish and I was wrong. My Mom, she needs me, I have to take care her. And the truth is that My Dad didn't leave me alone, he is always in my heart. I know that he always follow and look after me.

After a long period of disorientation, I have found a new life for myself and for my family. I always smile when remember the happy memories with my Dad. Because I am sure he will be happy to see his loved ones who is still good. I started a new job at HSBC Bank. I tried to work very well to fulfill my father's last wish that I should study abroad. Once again, I resigned after one year I joined in HSBC. Because I think this is a right time for me to make not only my dream but also my Dad's wish come true. After completing my study, I'll come back home and take care my Mom. I believe that this is a good investment for my future career.

Totally, my auto-biography is not interesting. But this is my real life. Joy, sad, tears and suffering, I went through. Sometimes I feel life is unfair. But sometimes I wonder What is fair? I have to choose a way of life and look at life in a more gentle way . I don't want to ask too much while I do nothing. I just want to make my beloved ones happy. The death of my father has been a great loss but it's the motivation to help me stronger and more consistent. I'm still young. And my life have just started. Sometime, learning to accept a truth is going to help me to have vigor to go ahead.

    1. Adela Cedeno

      My History

My name is Adela Cedeno and I want to tell you my history, where I was born, where I grew up, where I studied, where I worked, what have been my professional achievements, why I decided to learn English. Also, I want to talk about the most important aspect in my life, my family.

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. My parents are from Venezuela too. My father’s name is Julio Cedeno and my mother’ name is Adela Hernandez de Cedeno. I have two brothers one younger and one older than I. I grew up in Caracas with my family and in my family only spoke Spanish. I studied elementary, middle and high school in a catholic school called Santa Rosa de Lima. During High school was mandatory to study English. When I finished my high school, I started my bachelor in The University Central of Venezuela and my major was education planning.

While, I was studying, I began to work in Ricady Modas as an assistant manager. Ricady Modas was a clothing factory. At that time, my interest began for marketing. Five years later, I got my degree and moved to other job. I started to work in Consorcio Promoting. That company is a marketing firm, one of the most important in my country. This job was as an account executive. Two years after, I had reached the position of Promotions Manager. But I never had to use English in these jobs.

Several years after, I met my husband Horacio Maldonado. He is Venezuelan and his first language is Spanish and we married a year after that we met. When we married, I have to quit my job. One year later, I had my first son, Simon Maldonado and in 2000, I had my second child Samuel Maldonado. In 2002, my husband founded a construction company. The company’s name is GIHM 3002 C.A., but he didn’t has time to attend the company and I had to manage the company.

However, the country’s situation became more dangerous. We had several incidents with thieves. One of that incident was the thieves pointed guns to my family and me. After that, my husband and I decided that my children and I should to move to Florida. And so we did. I had studied English during high school, but it was not enough because I can help my children in their studies and also, I would like to study some master. For this reason, I decided to study English at the University of South Florida. And now, we have been here one year. I have been taking care of the most important of my life my family.

  4. Since I was little kid writing and speaking have always drawn my attention . Writing has attracted me especially more than speaking maybe because when I was child I was that kind of person who always shy , quiet and speak in a low voice but I believe things are different now . In my journey of development as a writer andspeaker I passed through several stages beginning in writing and speaking in my native language ending by attending language school in the evening after I felt the government school will not push me further anymore .

Reading at my childhood, watching some documentary movies and go with my uncle to his studying group with his friends improved my vocabulary in my native language Arabic and give me background about many things. All those previous stuffs make me happy when I pick up my pen and get ready to write because I know what I'm going to write about and have the skill to write coo sentence which in my native language is very important skill to be a good writer . I have wrote some short story's when I was 10 years old and joined short stories competition . At elementary school I joined to the journalist activity which gave me the opportunity to make interviews with many people so I managed to develop myself at speaking and writing , also at high school I joined to the radio activity and make a program .

Writing and speaking in English is a different story totally . It was unsuccessful journey . I was study at government school and I faced many problems at studying English . Changing the English syllable after 10 years from studying another one is one of these problem . Low English education level was the main problem for me . I can't imagine that we were taking the same exam structure since I finished the elementary school to my final exam at high school . Every writing exam has key words or more specifically a sentences missing some verbs
    !!

After I knew that the government school will not help me to improve my English which of course effect my writing and speaking skills I joined to language school after morning school . The language school was very helpful . All the teachers are either American or Canadian . Unfortunately I only studied 3 weeks I couldn't continue at the Language school Because I had final exams at morning school .

In conclusion writing and sometime speaking will still attract my heart . No matter if I failed in English and success in Arabic I will keep trying . And as Thomas Fuller said "all things are difficult before they are easy" .

  5. My language learning journey

How to study English? I think it is a serious problem to students. In my opinion, there have some features are necessary, that are confident, patient, and hardworking. In there, I will talk something about my language learning study.

First of all, I think the attitude is important to studying. As me an example, when I started study English, I was a child, may be about 8 years ago. I started touch the English, at that time, I really didn't like this language, I just finished the homework that teacher give me. I also didn't finish the other work, for example I didn't remember the word and did not want do anything except the work. In my mind, the learning is a task rather than interest. So, until I have finished the high school, I also have many problems in English and the grammar was very bad.

When I graduated from high school, I have studied English for 6 years, but I spent less time in English every day and have never reviewed the Textbook. So I forgot much knowledge in my class. By choosing university, I choose study in America. In the beginning, I did not want to study abroad, because I felt that my English is so bad and I can’t communicate with other foreign student. In that time, I was very unconfident. But later, my father encouraged me and told me didn’t afraid of that at this time, It is very important to study hard rather than worried. Then I started studying from initial stage, and improved quickly.

Last year in China, I spent 3 months learning English. Every day, I wrote a paragraph and spent 30 minutes to communicate with the foreign teacher. In addition it is very essential that correct the mistake and review the knowledge that teacher said. It is necessary that don't shy in speaking and don't afraid of speaking wrong word. Only practice can make English more skilled. Every day , we need wrote something and check the grammar and logic with you sentence. It is very effective way to remember the knowledge.

Though these years of learning. I have a conclusion, no matter what we learn, we all need determine do it and willing to pay for long time in it. In my experience, the effective in last three month study is better than the 6 years. The reason is attitude. How to study English? I think this queation is easy to answer. I think that if you like it and persist every, you will have good English. if you don't pay, You will fail. This is my language learning journey, I hope it can help you learn something from my experience.

  6. Turning Points In My Life

Recently, I have been thinking of my past which was about study English. There were three turning Points in my life. In the first place, I lived in a small town called LZ until I finished my primary school. I had no dream and poor academic performance in this time. In the second place, I was immigrant to big city SZ with my parents when I finished my primary school. This was the first time that I felt like study is very important, but I also didn't learn English in this time. In the last place, when I was study in the SZ University, I felt I have to study English well. This was the first time that I wanted to study abroad. Now I have been studying abroad at the INTO AE class, I believe I can study well and complete my master degree.

Firstly, I would like to talk about that I was childhood. When I was a child, I lived in the big family. There more than one hundred people in the family, so I had a lot of playmates in my life. Every day I had fun with my cousins. We are all farmer, we had no dream and never study. My parents are the most successful in the big family. They felt that I needed a more nurturing environment. My father found new job and take me migrate to big city. That takes courage. I used to live with my mother all the time. If I migrated to big city, my mother worked in my hometown. I had to leave my mother. But I had to choose, I wanted to change my life. This was the first time I began to dream. I want to succeed. This is the first turning Point of my life.

Secondly, when I came to SZ, I had to pass the exam then I can study in the BSD junior high school. I was not good at my study, so I failed at exam, but my father didn’t punish me. We spoke to the headmaster in the BSD junior high school. The headmaster did not criticize me and she criticized my father, she said: “You have to teaching your child. If his grades were bad, it was entirely your fault. ” She gave me an opportunity. I had to take exam two weeks later. I felt sad and heartache, I had never seen that people criticized my father. I thought I must do well in the exam, and got an admission. I had only two weeks, I found two teachers to teach English and Math. The first I studied so hard and I passed the exam. I got a high score in the math exam, but I still got a low score in the English exam. Because this is my first attempt at English, I couldn’t study fast, so I lose interest to study English in this time.

Thirdly, when I was study in SZ University, I had a lot of chances of contacting the society. I thought English very important on that time. So I tried to choose the English class. This was the first time I had class with foreign teacher. It was so hard for me. Although I tried to keep up with the curriculum, I study hard, keep up the good homework. But I still had failed the exam. The shock of English told me that I couldn't make it any better, so I had to change my life. In this time, when I was a sophomore, I decided to study abroad. That’s why I study in the INTO AE class now. I found out my dream suddenly that is I want to be an international talent.

I have been studying English in the INTO AE class for five months. The teachers are great fun and good at teaching. I am happy here and learn English fast. I used to hate English, but now I want to conquer English. All in all, there were three Turning Points of my life which was good for me. In the Turning Points, I learned a lot and found the right direction. My parents always supported me this period of time. I feel so fortunate and I will keep on studying hard in the future.
